I met Linda Ronstadt in April 1983 at a Tom Petty show. It was one of those miraculous, synchronistic, moments in Hollywood when I sat next to Linda and it just so happened, she was looking for a new wardrobe stylist, just as Strait Jacket was closing. I started working for her almost immediately and continued with her for the rest of the decade. I first styled her for her summer rock tour, Get Closer, Randy Newman Live at The Odeon and then went on to costume her for a trilogy of Nelson Riddle album covers and videos in addition to Trio with Emmylou Harris and Dolly Parton. We toured the United States, Australia and Japan and did a series of promo television shows including Johnny Carson, Smokey Robinson Revue, David Letterman, and The Don Lane Show. I reunited with Linda in 2019 after several years. In 2022, I was Design Consultant for her new book, Feels Like Home: A Song for the Sonoran Borderlands, which included choosing the front cover photo.

Linda Ronstadt lives. A host of interviews I conducted with professionals I worked with during my tenure with Linda Ronstadt as her wardrobe stylist and were seen originally on social media during the Pandemic. The interviews include: Kosh, Ann Savoy, Bob Glaub, Rosemary Butler, Carlene Carter, Sherry Rayn Barnett, Tom De Savia, Paul Natkin, Lilly Hiatt. They’re quite raw as we navigate zoom and  livestream on a new format in a changed world! Hope you enjoy! Please join me on Linda Ronstadt Fans on Instagram for more photos and stories.
